The US was the only country to oppose a UN resolution replacing a colonial world map from year 1569, which misrepresents Africa’s size. This is part of the Trump admin’s attempt to revive colonialism.
The situation with Trump as president worsens continually. I can't blame him entirely, though, he is only carrying out a number of policies that were already in place, only increased their nastiness exponentially. Why nobody seems to be able to stop this train wreck in motion makes me sad and angry for my country. And I hope that there will be an overdue reckoning for the harm that the government of the United States has caused, and is continuing to wreak, on both Americans and the people of the world. To say that I am outraged is an understatement. I want to see progress made towards more freedom, more justice, and more love in the world, not this coiling around hatred.
The USA is beyond REDEMPTION 🆘TRUMP and his goons are DESTROYING the USA very quickly ‼️The Republican Party is destroying itself with TRUMP’S NARCISSISTIC EGO. What he is doing is causing so many problems world wide. SO MANY are going to suffer.
The equal map, though, doesn’t show the Arctic at all. It looks like that may have been one of the reasons for favoring the Mercator projection since Arctic geography is becoming increasingly important.
Wonder why the pillar of Capitalism, USA, is trying to prevent the competition (Multipolarism) at global scale at all costs (incl. WW3), Clinging to its global hegemony by all means?

This really made me ask a bigger question: when do we reach a higher level of understanding and actually learn from our past?
History has already shown us the consequences of exploitation, distorted narratives, inequality, and concentrating power in the hands of a few. Yet generations later, we continue repeating many of the same mistakes under different names.
The United States often speaks about the ideals found in its founding documents—liberty, representation, equality, and government accountable to the people—but we have to be willing to acknowledge when the country is not living up to those ideals. In many ways, they have always been unfinished promises.
And when leadership fails to move us forward, it becomes the responsibility of others to step forward. Sometimes that means new voices, new representation, new ideas, and a new generation of leadership willing to make the changes others would not.
Progress cannot only mean becoming more technologically or economically advanced. We also have to become morally and ethically wiser.
We have the history. We have the information. We know the consequences. At some point, we have to stop asking our children to inherit problems we already knew how to address.
The question is no longer whether we can learn from history. It is whether we dare to actually use what we learned to build something better.
It's like a toddler who can't get their own way--Trump's refusal to have the US go along with the UN on replacing the colonial world map with an accurate version. He's behavior is so tiring, but yet so predictable.
Great observations Ben. I particularly like your highlighting
the dangers of that venomous viper Rubio!

I agree with you. I am not only sad and outraged but I am ashamed. So very very ashamed of what is going on with this administration.
Good start, keep it up.
When will the UN vote on terminating the USA membership? Oh wait, the UN is where nothing of importance happens
😀Big Thanks😃

The US has made “so many" suffer ever since it assumed Britain's imperialist mantle, post the Second Imperialist War!
Thank you so much men Norton for news no one else is covering.

Let’s see who wins!
