All of these Latin American exiles are the same racist Creoles who benefited from the Spanish Empire's strict racial caste system for centuries until they lost some of THEIR privileges and one of their own, Simon Bolivar, led a long, bloody revolution to cast off Spanish rule.

All they want is to return their families to hereditary power and to lord it over the mestizos and mulattos and sambos and indios and to punish them for their insolence. They haven't changed in 400 years. Just look at Marco Rubio; still pining for the good old days of Batista and mobsters in Cuba.

I have also had the disgusting experience of meeting Somocistas from Nicaragua and getting to know them really well. They all deserve far worse than what they've gotten, the sick aristocratic fucks.

I am related to a few of them. Utterly despicable in their politics. They should just stay in Miami; they want to be gringos anyways.

Not going to happen. The people of Vensuela are not stupid and they're not as easily fooled as the United States public. Machado can spout off in Miamim but that doesn't mean jack in Caracas.

This despicable woman likely knows that even if she did somehow end up installed in Miraflores, the Venezuelan people would just rise up and kick her back out of the country. But she needs to keep the charade up because her CIA paycheck depends on it.

Corruption like this used to stay hidden, and those involved did their best to keep it that way. Now it's out in the open, so what does that say about "world order" and "international norms"? Was it always a farce, or is this just a natural evolution of the human species?

No. It’s not a natural evolution.

Americans favorite President was John F. Kennedy (below). If you look back at what he fought for, and his stated values, and what his Admin. accomplished, and was trying to accomplished, most all of it was for a peaceful Democracy, with civil and human rights as a main focus.

When corrupt, evil elite, many of whom are organized crime Mob members infiltrate and corrupt most all of the USA Govt., they are a very slim subset of Americans, but powerful & elite. When you add into the mix that this small subset of wealthy, elite evil is also tied to World Dictators like Putin/RUS and Xi/China, this small group gains more power, but is clearly not welcomed by the mass World Democracy population. So, it seems the natural order would defer to the mass World Democracy population.

There are now well over 40M innocent civilians executed or put through Genocide in the past 10 years. Many others have been ousted, unable to vote in Democratic elections. So, this small, narrow band of wealthy, elite evil is coming after World Democracies at many angles to suppress the masses. This is not natural, because the masses far outnumber the narrow band of wealthy elite.

“This is not natural, because the masses far outnumber the narrow band of wealthy elite… the natural order would defer to the mass World Democracy population.”

I think your thesis is at best naïve. The masses never rule. Take the American Revolution, the French Revolution, and the Russian Revolution; in each case the masses, motivated and led by a few with a cadre of followers, rise up to topple the elites, only to be later led by a different set of elites who are themselves corrupt or corruptible. It’s not “elite evil”, it is human nature (a capability within every human) that gravitates to money and power, and therefore corruption. As it has ever been throughout history; as it will ever be.

Both sides of my family have been here in the US since the early 1600’s in the Colonies. Through family journals, activity, wars fought, history and other family documents, I choose to disagree with you, at least on the American Revolution from the 1600’s through 1776 when the Constitution was first signed.

Using written and historical documentation of 400 years of family and US history is not naïve. I also have gone back 700 years of my family’s history in England/Scotland.

Thus, my post wasn’t naïve supposition, it was based on undisputed fact, over 100’s of years.

Basing an analysis of human history and behavior on the empirical observations of a few dozen individuals (or however many the number of your families 400 years of recorded observations) is the definition of myopia. Good luck convincing any legitimate historian of the relevance of that experience.

p.s.

Integrity, and a moral compass — vs. greed — is a “choice.” Greed has never been predestined. If lack of integrity and lack of a moral compass is your choice, you own that choice.

As a woman I would love to supports another woman as our president, but my only chance had been this despicable wannabe, who thinks we are stupid that will let her give out our resources for free to the USA companies. Over our death bodies! Those are not hers to give out. She is just a sad egotistical and dissociated woman which be the second president of Narnia (the successor of Juan Guaido)

There is no rational reason that can explain the existence of a person like this. Not even greed and lust for power can explain it. Maybe deep psychological issues, personality disorders, psychopathy.. maybe even demon possession if we look at it through a spiritual/metaphysical lens.

I have made this point repeatedly...Nearly all women in governmental power (or wannabees) are the most agressive, and vicious war mongers, or desperate for their "daddy's" attention and approval from any authoritarian person, organization, or country. Her father didn't hug her enough.

Dilma Rousseff didn't seem like a warmonger. Cristina Kirchner did not seem desperate for "daddy's" attention, nor did Michele Bachelet. And I'm just speaking about women leaders in this region. I thought about your comment for a couple of days, and came to the conclusion that maybe there's something personal about it regarding women. Certainly you have your Hillary Clinton types that are warmongers, but I think maybe that your generalization is a little too broad, and saying "nearly all" is hyperbolic.

China has a genuine productive economy that makes things.

The USA has a fake parasitic economy that breaks things.

The only thing keeping the financialised US economy alive is the global reserve currency status of the USD, and the only thing keeping that alive is the Petrodollar scheme and the only thing keeping that alive is the willingness of oil exporters to sell their oil exclusively in USD...... and the latter is fast VANISHING.

Hence the dying US empire is trying to regime change oil exporters (Iraq previously, then aggressions against Russia, Iran, Venezuela, Nigeria), to install puppets like M. C. Machado to restore the Petrodollar.

It's the oilconomy, stupid!!

Note: The unconventional extra heavy crude of the Orinoco basin is viscous but “can be made to flow” in the higher temperatures of the Venezuelan tropics, however refining is very costly due to major contamination with sulphur and heavy metals. This is what pundits refer to when they say that “Venezuela has the largest oil reserves in the world”. Yet the Orinoco basin was never deemed a particularly desirable spot until oil from the conventional “easy” oilfields peaked then declined (eg

Maracaibo oil peaked in the middle of last century). Harvesting and refining that extra heavy crude will absolutely cause horrific environmental eco-devastation and likely extermination of any forest dwellers in the vicinity.

Exactly.

Even If you take a look at the inflated U.S. GDP, you'll see that US consumes twice as much as it produces.

That's Imperial parasitism made possible only by the exorbitant privilege of U.S. dollar reserve currency status.

Sell, no give Venezuela's national assets tp the US/ West at rock bottom prices, thus depriving the citizens of any possibility to acrue wealth, and Venezuelans will be enslaved to the US/ West, much like is happening in Argentina, and this bitch, just like Milei will get a nice retirement package for being such a good useful idiot just like Milei.

She isn't perhaps a Jew, is she?

If she is, it will start to show trend of US led Western “Captured” countries, with Ukraine and Argentina already being part of that trend.
