Breaking free of the U.S. unipolar order requires a full spectrum set of alternative international organizations independent of the United States, NATO, and other client allies.

There are some interesting organizational and currency models being trialled by China & Friends right now.

Excellent wholistic post for understanding the underlying dynamics of the economics behind war.

China, Russia and the BRICs Global Majority have been constructing the alternative lawful institutions for a new humanitarian paradigm and financial system that is based on National Sovereignty, Security and Economic Development.

One third of Tel Aviv, and most of Haifa, are not in ruins. Facts matter!

Nice evidence. There are many sources that say this is true.

The Haifa refinery is not function and the port is closed, I kind of imagine it is in ruins.

This Aljazeera report certainly shows a lot of damage in different locations around Israel.

It kind of doesn't matter though at the moment. Tomorrow something else will be claimed.

I work with mostly Israelis and they said it is BAD. Much, much worse than what one can see on the news as they have a media blackout

Thanks for the positive news, one can only hope it continues but for the individual it is not a positive though they were stum for the last 18 months of genocide.

Most of the Israelis I know detest Netanyahu and do not support any of this

JohnOnKaui's avatar

So the polls that show 70% of Israelis support Netanyahu are wrong? Or is it they don't like Bibi but still like their Jewish privilege?

I'm just saying there are a lot of photos that back up the idea that Israelis are happy with the Genocide.

Or when you say "any of this" are you just referring to suffering missile attacks?

So 30% don't, right? Just like many Americans don't support Trump, many Brits don't support Starmer. Let's not hate eachother

Yes obviously the secular normal citizens don’t support it but they sure must be a minority, Hope your associates are still OK and maybe looking for an exit

Thanks, many are yes. Most people on earth just want to live their lives. It's sad that literally a few people on this planet can cause so much death and destruction

Trump is—unfortunately for MAGA—way over his head on foreign affairs. Nothing in his salesman/TV persona resume prepared him for this, and more than anything, he needs to appear “strong” for his Executive optics. His heavy-handedness and inability to process the nuances of foreign diplomacy (of which Putin is a master) bode not well for us, his supporters. All his domestic victories are for naught as geopolitics blows it all up—literally—5 months in.

This is a powerful, deeply critical analysis of U.S. foreign policy that highlights the often-overlooked strategic motives behind the push for conflict with Iran.

Mr. Hudson is saying the basic reason for the military conflicts is access to, control of, and ownership of raw materials. Especially petroleum and yellow cake uranium. There are, of course, other important raw material as well.

Michael's analysis misses the economic impact on Israel imposed by US tariffs and the growing willingness of the EU to penalize Israel for its human rights violations. As a recent Valdai Club analysis points out, at this point the "special relationship" is in dire straits, as Israel seeks redemption from the West but ignores the potential of a future relationship in the multipolar order.
